Spectrum Coatings was formed in 1999, when the current board of directors had realised that there was a need in the optical supplies market for a high quality, coatings applicator.

The main driving force behind the formation of the company was the formulation of a revolutionary service in respect of hard coating technology. This led to the implementation of our Spectraplus facility.
